Tell us about your role at Westminster Waste. What does a typical day look like for you?
My role is really varied. I look after customer accounts and support both the marketing and sales teams. A typical day can include anything from handling enquiries and supporting clients to helping promote our services and working with the team to drive new business. No two days are ever the same, which is what I enjoy about it.
How long have you been with Westminster Waste, and what made you want to join the company?
I’ve been with Westminster Waste for almost two years. I wanted to join because it’s a family-run business with a great reputation and a hands-on, supportive culture. It felt like the right place to bring my 27yrs experience and be part of a team where everyone works together
How does your role contribute to the bigger picture at Westminster Waste?
My role supports the bigger picture by helping to expand the waste management side of the business and building strong, long-lasting relationships with our customers. By understanding their needs and delivering a reliable service, I help create trust, encourage repeat business, and open the door to new opportunities for growth.
What’s your favourite way to start your morning at work?
A nice cup of tea to get me going and set me up for the day ahead.
Tell us a fact about you that the team might not know.
I met the Queen in my younger school days at Westminster Abbey for Commonwealth Day. And I holiday in Turkey a lot but everyone that knows me will know that!!
